Transfers, Flows, Glimmers

We invite you to the opening of a retrospective exhibition of works by Bożena Franieczek, entitled “Transfers, Flows, Glimmers”.

Bożena Franieczek’s work resists clear-cut classification. The artist experiments with her choice of subjects, painting techniques and formats, ranging from miniature works to large-scale pieces. She often enriches her paintings with elements drawn from sculpture, ceramics and glass. Her work encompasses both collages striking in their bold use of colour and austere, seemingly dormant monochromes.

Shortly after graduating from Wrocław Medical University, Bożena Franieczek began pursuing her artistic path. She graduated with distinction from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, specialising in Visual Arts in Architecture, with a focus on painting in the studios of Professor Leszek Mikoś and Professor Anna Maria Kramm.
