The complex of royal residential apartments consists of six carefully restored rooms: a rococo room belonging to Frederick the Great, baroque rooms belonging to Frederick William II. In 1813, in Frederick William’s III room German history was settled. For safety reasons, during the war against Napoleon the king stayed at the Palace.

In this room he wrote the proclamation To My People, also here he established a war decoration – The Iron Cross. A blue auditorium is also assigned to this ruler. Next to the chambers, there is an original baroque Beyersdorfs’ Room from around 1730 lined with ceramic Delft tiles.
