The exhibition is displayed on two floors of the gallery of the west wing of the Royal Palace in Wrocław. It is devoted to the paintings of artists educated at the Wroclaw School of Arts and Crafts (later the Academy) and artists from other regions, working in Wroclaw or the region of Lower Silesia. The predominating group are mountain landscapes created mainly in the open air of the Karkonosze and the Sudetes. The second group consists of city views of Wroclaw, portraits, nudes, genre scenes and still lifes. The exhibition is complemented by individual examples of sculpture.
